Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security system for verifying a user’s identity in two steps to prevent access to services or data by unauthorised persons.
Enabling two-factor authentication security in XCALLY is very simple: you can go to the user section and choose your preferred authentication method (email or app, e.g. Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator).
A code will be generated and sent to the user via email or app, depending on the option chosen, to confirm the 2FA setting.
When 2FA is active, two steps are required to access the XCALLY interface:
– Password entry
– Entering the OTP code, received by email or via the authentication app, depending on the option chosen
